Residence permit \/ <\/strong>Karta pobytu<\/strong> is a document that identifies a foreigner, gives him a residence permit in Poland and allows him to stay legally in the country for more than 90 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is a residence permit that allows you to cross the borders of Poland without obtaining additional visas, as well as legally stay on the territory of Poland during the period indicated on the residence permit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Classification<\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are several types of residence permits:<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

  • Karta czas\u043ewego p\u043ebytu \u2013 temporary residence permit,\u00a0<\/strong>which is issued for a period not exceeding 3 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Blue Card<\/strong>\u00a0\u2013 a type of\u00a0temporary residence permit<\/strong>\u00a0for work, for professions that require high qualifications (programmers, department heads, HR specialists, etc.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Karta sta\u0142ego pobytu \u2013 a permanent residence permit,\u00a0<\/strong>which gives the right to permanent residence on the territory of Poland, but the document must be renewed every 10 years.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  • Zezwolenie na pobyt rezydenta d\u0142ugoterminowego Unii Europejskiej \u2013<\/strong>EU long-term residence permit.<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n
